Earl Grey Tea Cucumber Body Spray

Earl Grey Tea Cucumber Body Spray

Fall is here to stay, and with it comes cooler air and nipping breezes to chap and damage skin.

So today, I'm doing a different kind of recipe! Why not put the antioxidants in tea to work for you in a different way and wear it! This is a fresh calming body spray made with aloe, cucumbers, and tea that will help smooth and repair wind blown or sun damaged skin as the weather gets cooler.

This would be a fantastic gift idea this winter with a cute label and recipe card!

Any tea will work for this, but I chose to go with Star Crossed for a delicate earl grey scent with hints of mint and blueberry -- yum!

 Earl Grey Cucumber Body Spray

  • 1 tbsp of tea (I used Star Crossed)
  • Half of a cucumber
  • 1 tablespoon aloe vera gel
  • Small spray bottle

Brew 4 ounces of tea, using 1 tbsp of leaf (for an extra strong cup) to 4 oz water. Once steeped, pop that in the refrigerator to cool. Peel and puree half of a cucumber. Strain and discard solids.

Once the tea has cooled, add 2-4 ounces of tea to the cucumber juice. Add 1-2 tbsp aloe vera gel. Whisk or shake to combine. Store in the refrigerator.

Lasts about 10 days.
